Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Seedwise (“Seedwise,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the Seedwise platform and website at getseedwise.io. It also describes your rights under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (“CCPA/CPRA”).

For personal information about our own account holders, website visitors, and prospects, Seedwiseacts as a controller. For creator and recipient data that customers upload and process through the Service to run outreach campaigns, Seedwise acts as a processor on the customer’s behalf — see our Data Processing Addendum.

• Account data: name, email, password hash, workspace/brand, role.
• Billing data: plan, subscription status, and payment metadata (card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us).
• Usage & device data: log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies.
• Customer Data (processor role): creator profiles, contact details, message content, campaign and attribution records that customers upload or generate.
• Support communications: messages you send to support@getseedwise.io.

• To provide and operate the Service — performance of a contract.
• To bill and prevent fraud — contract and legitimate interests.
• To improve, secure, and support the Service — legitimate interests.
• To send service and, where permitted, marketing communications — consent or legitimate interests (you may opt out at any time).
• To comply with legal obligations — legal obligation.

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Service and, subject to your choice, analytics/preference cookies to improve it. You can manage your choice through the cookie banner shown on our site. See the “Your choices” section below.

We share personal information with subprocessors that help us run the Service (hosting, payments, AI, enrichment, email/SMS delivery, and e-commerce integrations). A current list is maintained in our DPA. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. We do not sell personal information for money.

Personal information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Customer Data is retained according to your instructions and deleted within a reasonable period after account termination (typically 30–90 days), unless a longer period is required by law. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

Subject to conditions and exceptions, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact support@getseedwise.io. Where we act as a processor, we will refer your request to the relevant customer (controller).

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for monetary value. To exercise your rights, contact support@getseedwise.io. We will verify your request before responding.

You can update your account details in-app, opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link, and manage cookie preferences via the banner. Recipients of campaign messages can unsubscribe via the link in each message; opt-outs are honored promptly.

We use technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
